Our fully equipped work shop is able to carry out everything from inner tube replacement to full custom builds and hand built wheels. We repair and maintain over 8000 bikes every year, helping to keep Oxford on two wheels rain or shine.
We have a very busy work shop with high demand being in the city centre. Because of this, we run on a first come first serve basis (providing you can leave your bike with us). Most of our repairs are done within 24 hours unless we are very busy (sometimes longer if we have to order in parts). When possible we also run an express service for puncture repairs. You will receive a free drink in our upstairs cafe while we fix your flat, normally ready to roll within 20 minutes.
While you wait free bike check
Get a free on the spot bike check. Before we book your bike in to our workshop we will have a look over the bike on the shop floor. This gives us a chance to assess the bike and what needs doing, and for the customer to explain any issues they know of. Once you are happy with the agreed work we can price the job, and book the bike in. If you wish to take the bike away to have a think about the proposed work, that’s fine. We will book the bike in for the next available slot on your return. In the case of your bike needing more work, we will ring you before undertaking extra repairs.
In the event of a bike being unsafe to ride and the owner deciding they do not want to fix the bike to a safe standard, we might refuse to work on the bike or take it in for repair.
Free First Service (on new bikes bought from us)
All New bikes brought from us receive a free first service between 2-4 weeks. Customers are asked to bring the bike back for it’s after-sales check. At this point we can also fit any extra accessories you may require for your bike, like mudguards, racks, etc.
The bike will get booked in to the workshop for its first service and when possible we try to get the bike back to you the same day. If you are not local and need to travel some distance to the shop, we would recommend ringing ahead so we can advise you on turnaround times.
