Making A Purchase 
To make a purchase, find the specific item(s) within our web catalogue, check the item description and stock availability information, then click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. We cannot accept telephone orders.

We can only accept orders from within the UK, we accept credit card, debit card and PayPal payments.

All items are shown in £ sterling. Bike Zone Oxford Ltd reserves the right to change any advertised price at any time.

 

Every attempt has been made to ensure that the prices and details of products on this website are correct. If we find we have made an error before we despatch your order we will contact you to advise of any price or specification changes. If after receiving your goods, you feel the goods do not match their description on the website then please follow our standard returns policy.

 

Shipping and Handling

We offer a free Click and Collect service on all items displayed on our website. Availability of goods will vary from same day (where we have stock of the item at that collection point) to several days or weeks, where items have to be ordered in. 90% of stock items are either in stock or available for collection within 3 working days. An indication of availability is shown alongside the item description.

For the majority of our bikes we offer a premium delivery service to addresses within a 30 mile radius of our shops (see post-code listings under “delivery details”). Bikes are delivered by a member of cycle shop staff who will set up and adjust the bike to suit the customer and talk through technical aspects of the bike and maintenance best-practice.  Most in-stock bikes will be offered with a delivery option within 5 working days (although we obviously have to liaise with the customer to ensure that delivery can happen at a time when they are at home to do the set-up and talk-through). Please call the shop for a more precise delivery schedule if required. Delivery price is subject to bike cost and will be offered to qualifying bikes at the point of online purchase. Please read the delivery options carefully when making a purchase as we do not deliver nationally but only within a 30 mile radius of our shops. All eligible postcodes will be listed with your delivery option. If you are unsure if we can deliver to you then please contact us before making the purchase. If we are unable to make a delivery to you then you will have the option to do a free click and collect service at a store of your choice or a full refund.
 

 

Delivery Schedule

We try hard to ensure that stock information and delivery times are as accurate as possible. If an item is out of stock it will be displayed alongside the product or you will not be able to add it to your shopping cart. If something is ordered, but we discover that we cannot supply it in the advertised time scale we will contact you within 48 hours and give you an amended delivery time and an option to cancel the order for a full and immediate refund. For bike deliveries we will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery date and time. Our delivery van can get very busy so we cannot guarantee all date will be available but will do our best to fit in around you.

 

Tax Charges

 All orders to the UK will be charged 20% VAT, unless the item is VAT free. All prices displayed on the website are VAT inclusive and you will be charged no additional taxes on the prices displayed with each product.

 

Privacy Policy

Bike Zone Oxford Ltd will not disclose buyer’s information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you choose to access your account. Information and data collected by this site is used to:

a. Take and fulfil customer orders
b. Administer and enhance the site and service
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes

 

Returns Policy

If you have received a product from us that is either faulty or unwanted please first contact us before returning the item. ALL unwanted goods must be returned with a copy of the original receipt, original packaging and in a resalable condition. If you are unhappy with your item then we will be happy to offer an exchange or refund within 30 days of the purchase date. PLEASE NOTE that this does not apply to bikes and helmets. If you decide that you are not happy with your new bike after you have picked it up or taken delivery then please contact us and we will do our best to resolve the issue. We advise customers to take as much time as they need to make sure that they buy the correct bike and we have many bikes available for test ride to help in reaching the right decision. We do NOT offer a fault-free refund option on bikes.

 

 If you have received discounted goods as part of a sales package we will only be able to offer a refund if ALL the goods are received in a re-saleable condition, we will be happy to replace a component of an order should that prove to be faulty.

 

 

Postage refunds, Warranty faults

All our products are from official suppliers and are covered by their respective manufacturers UK warranty. We will refund or replace any faulty goods, but only after we have had chance to examine them to verify that they are faulty. After first contacting us to obtain a returns code, please return the goods using a budget delivery service – Royal Mail, or Royal Mail signed-for on expensive items. Once we have established that the goods are faulty we will send you a replacement or repaired product free of charge and will refund the return postage.
